The First Amendment gives companies the right to go door-to-door without permission from the Village of Itasca. The Village asks that solicitors register so that we are aware they will be in our community. If we get complaints or questions, we are also then able to contact the solicitor.

The Village currently does not endorse any company or service selling their products door-to-door. Any sales people going door-to-door asking Itasca residents or businesses to use or purchase their services are not working for, or with, the Village of Itasca. Solicitors with permits are not endorsed by the Village of Itasca. If residents or businesses suspect suspicious behavior or feel threatened, please dial 911.
