We recognize that during this time, a number of individuals and families have been impacted both financially and emotionally by COVID-19. The Village is here for you and we hope you will find the resources listed on this page helpful.
The Village of Itasca is proud to be working with Jewel Osco, the Itasca Park District, the Itasca Community Library, and other community partners to help residents 65 years and older and those with disabilities obtain the COVID vaccine. Those interested being placed on a waiting list should call the Itasca Park District at 630-773-2257. At this time, we have not scheduled another event.
Additionally, residents may register for vaccine alerts by visiting the DuPage County Health Department website or or call (630) 682-7400 if assistance is needed with registration. The DuPage County Health Department is the local resource for information on the planning and distribution of vaccines in DuPage County. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act ensures that COVID-19 testing is free to anyone in the U.S., including the uninsured. Below are organizations offering testing in our area.
Testing is free but limited tests are available per day. This is a drive-thru testing site, where individuals will give themselves a nasal swab test with instructions from staff. The testing site is open Sunday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm or until the daily test capacity of 600 tests is met.
Please note not all testing sites listed are managed by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Every home in the U.S. is now eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests. To order your tests and learn more about this federal program, visit www.covidtests.gov.
