Village Hall Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

The Itasca Village Hall and Public Works will be closed Thursday Nov 23 and Friday Nov 24 for Thanksgiving . Have a safe and happy holiday.

Recycle your Cooking oil into Bio-Fuel this Thanksgiving

Bring used cooking oil in a milk jug, bucket or the container it came in to the Village Hall on Saturday November 25 from 9am -12 for recycling. Residents will take home containers and please do not bring motor oil. Questions please call 630-545-9710.

Toys For Tots

Brush and Yard Waste pick-up extended to Monday, December 11

Brush is picked up each Monday - any homeowner who needs brush disposal at any other time must contact a landscaper for disposal of materials. Homeowners who are clearing out seasonal brush and storm damage brush should keep the guidelines below in mind.

Holiday Lights Recycling Program

Have your lights lost their twinkle? Year after year we find ourselves testing bulbs and replacing fuses, when that doesn’t work in the garbage the lights go. Bring your broken and old bulbs to the labeled receptacles in front of the Village Hall.

Lights that will be accepted for this program are: Mini-lights (or Italian lights), C7 lights, C9 lights, rope lights, LED lights, extension cords, etc. With this program Itasca can now divert all holiday lights that would normally end up in a landfill, a...

Itasca Lions Begin Distribution of Christmas Luminaria Dec 2

The Lions will distribute Christmas Luminaria bags to homes in the Village on Dec 2. Please light your candles at 5pm on Christmas Eve, Dec 24. Additional bags available at Park District, 7-11 and Police Department. "Rain Date" is 5pm on Christmas Day.

Village Complex Accepting Toys, Hats & Mittens

During the Holiday season the Village Hall and Police Department will be accepting new unwrapped toys. The Village Hall also has a "Mitten & Hat" tree (new items only please) to benefit the less fortunate.
