At the end of September, the Village will no longer waive building permit and contractor registration fees related to storm damage repair. Friday, Sept. 29 is the last day to apply for a building permit to repair storm damage and not be charged fees.
Our normal building permit and contractor registration fees will resume on Monday, October 2. Please contact the Community Development Department at 630-773-5568 with any questions.
Each Fall, the Village begins its flushing program throughout the Village. Periodic flushing of water mains removes the mineral deposits and assures consistent high quality water. This is expected to be completed by Oct. 13.

The Village of Itasca is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of part-time meter reader. The candidates must be available to work the first week of every month during all weather conditions. Applications will be accepted until Sept 29.
Construction begins August 1, of the proposed storm sewer along Willow Street from North Street to Bryn Mawr Avenue to Happy Acres pond. Street parking along will be temporarily prohibited on the side of the road where construction is taking place.
